Senior Thesis Reflection
While challenging, sometimes frustrating, and all-consuming, AE Senior Thesis was the most valuable and important project I have worked on during my time here at Penn State University. Choosing a building that I loved and topics of study that I was interested in and passionate about motivated me to continue to working harder, especially when faced with challenging design and engineering decisions. Thesis taught me how to manage my time efficient, work smart, ask questions when needed, and dedicate all I had to produce a finished product that I could forever be proud of. Most importantly, this process proved to me that thinking outside of the box, doing things the way you think they should be completed, and following your passions in life (mixed in with hard work and dedication) will get you to where you want to be. While I am beyond happy and relieved to be finished, I know I will carry the personal, professional, creative design, and problem solving skills that I improved during AE Senior Thesis into my career and life.
CPEP Reflection
This was the first website platform I had ever used. While a bit challenging to navigate and use at first, after exploring the program and its many capabilities, it became rather easy to create a website that fit the needs for my thesis. It's a great platform to present and organize the materials and deliverables for my own personal use as well as for the viewing pleasure of others. While my knowledge is still small in regards to using this tool and there are certainly many more features I could learn and improve upon in the future, I'm very glad I was exposed to website creation during my AE Senior Thesis.
